Governor Janice K. Brewer, Arizona state Governor, speaks during the re-designation ceremony for Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 121, Nov. 20 at the VMFA-121 hangar, Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Ariz. The Green Knights, formerly an F/A-18 Hornet squadron, will make up the first operational F-35B squadron not only in the Marine Corps, but in the world. The readiness and capability of an organic air combat element is vital to the Marine Air Ground Task Force and all aspects of Marine Corps operations. The F-35B will provide the Marine Corps with the next generation of tactical aircraft dominance in the Marine Corps.
