A quilt to span the years of war

Sgt. 1st Class Enicka Williams, the assistant operations non-commissioned officer for 3rd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, passes a quilt to Spc. Niomi Wright, a human resource specialist with 4th SBCT, 2nd Infantry Division “Raiders,” Nov. 8, here. Williams cared for the hand-stitched quilt made by members of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4884 from Spiro, Okla., during her year-long deployment to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Wright will take care of the quilt for the next nine months as 4th SBCT partners with the Afghan National Security Forces to provide security and promote a safer Afghanistan. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt.
