U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. The aircraft was scheduled to fly to March Air Reserve Base, Calif., to pick up power company trucks and repair crews for transport to Stewart Air National Guard Base in Newburgh, N.Y., after Hurricane Sandy struck the New Jersey and New York City areas Oct. 29, 2012.
