Supporters hold up signs showing appreciation as the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) Honor Guard of Fort Campbell, Ky., march down the parade route during the 2012 Veterans Day parade in downtown Nashville, Tenn. Thousands of veterans took part in the event which was the largest in the state. Some were on horseback, others were on motorcycles or in classic cars.
