National Guard mounts logistics operation in New York City

Ohio Army National Guard Light Medium Tactical Vehicles, assigned to the 1484th Transportation Company, lined up outside the Jacob Javits Convention center on Manhattan preparing for another mission, Nov. 8. The Javits Center is being used to store relief supplies donated by corporations which are being distributed by National Guard elements. More than 700 National Guard soldiers and airmen from Ohio, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Delaware, West Virginia, Kansas, and New Hampshire have been part of the response mission.
