National Guardsmen aid Coney Island residents stricken by Hurricane Sandy

U.S. Army National Guardsmanen Spc. Zebadiah Mientkiewicz, a Fredonia, N.Y., native, and Spc. Derek White, a Jamestown, N.Y., native, of B Troop, 2nd Squadron, 101st Cavalry Regiment, Jamestown, N.Y., knock from door-to-door in an apartment complex in New York City, Nov. 9, 2012. Soldiers and first responders went throughout the complex offering food, water and medical attention if needed.
