Soldiers and families from Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion, I Corps, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, gathered Oct. 26 with hundreds of toys to donate to Santa’s Castle. Santa’s Castle is a private, non-profit organization ran by community volunteers established in 1994. It provides Christmas presents to Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine, activated National Guard, Coast Guard and Reserve children. Last year Santa’s Castle on JBLM gave out more than $100,000 worth of toys, in support of over 2,300 military families. (U.S. Army photo by Staff Sgt.
