All-American lacrosse player leads Marines as executive officer

First Lieutenant Andrew McGann, the executive officer of Truck Company Alpha, Headquarters Battalion, 1st Marine Division, leads his Marines in physical training, Oct. 22, 2012. Before commissioning in the Marine Corps, McGann was an All-American lacrosse player for three years at Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, Pa. McGann received orders to Truck Alpha after completing a deployment to Afghanistan where he served with Regimental Combat Team 5’s Civil Affairs Detachment.
