Capt. Matt H. Langferman, a Marine All-Weather Fighter Attack Squadron 225 F/A-18D Hornet pilot, climbs into a F/A-18D Hornet to participate in air-to-air and air-to-ground training as part of Exercise Island Fury here Oct. 19. Island Fury is a multilateral exercise that allows Marine Corps squadrons to work together and with their Air Force counterparts to improve air-to-air and air-to-ground training, and also practice working with sister services to improve mission readiness in this area of operation.
