Maj. Amy Thompson, a medical officer from Bravo Company, Troop Command, Brooks Army Medical Center, received a coin from Brig. Gen. Dean Milner, III Corps deputy commanding general‚ Canada as they shook hands for being the first to complete the 12-mile road march during testing for the Expert Field Medical Badge Oct 1. Thompson was one of only 22 soldiers, out of 230 candidates, to receive the badge.
