Marines host youngsters' field trip to Cherry Point flight line

KC-130J Hercules pilots with Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 252, lead students, teachers and chaperones onto the flight line at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point Sept. 26. Twenty-eight students from St. Paul Catholic School in nearby New Bern, N.C., took a field trip to the air station to visit the Hercules squadron and Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 467. The pilots guided the students around their aircraft, answering any questions they had. “It’s an awesome experience to walk out here for the first time,” said Hercules pilot 1st Lt. Christian Mallamo.
