U.S. Army Sgt. Maj. L'Tanya Williams, Phillip A. The dining facility was inspected as one of eight finalists for the Department of the Army Phillip A. Connelly Award. This is the first time an Army dining facility in Southwest Asia became a Connelly finalist, awarded for excellence in the preparation and serving of food in Army troop dining facilities. Area Support Group Qatar executes U.S. Central Command's Rest and Recuperation Pass Program, providing a brief respite for troops serving in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom.
