Republic of Korea Army Provincial Reconstruction Team Commander Col. Choi Wan-Kyu shows Maj. Gen. William C. Mayville Jr., Combined Joint Task Force-1, Regional Command East commanding general, several canvases of photos from Korea and ROK Army missions and projects in Afghanistan. The canvases were part of a display for the ROK Armed Forces Day celebration held on Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan, Sept. 28, 2012. The celebration commemorates the day during the Korean War when South Korean forces broke through the 38th parallel.
