Republic of Korea Army soldiers assist with laying out traditional rice cakes prior to the ROK Armed Forces Day celebration held on Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan, Sept. 28, 2012. The celebration offered traditional foods typically served during the Korean autumn festival known as "Chuseok." The celebration commemorated the fateful day during the Korean War when South Korean forces pushed through the 38th parallel. More than 500 personnel from various contingents participated in the two-day event.
