The first-place finisher of the Republic of Korea Army 5-kilometer run sprints to the finish line on Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan, Sept. 27, 2012. The run simultaneously commemorated 2,000 hours of safe flight and kicked-off the celebration for the Korean Armed Forces Day, celebrating the day when South Korean forces pushed through the 38th parallel during the Korean War.
