Fellow Marines and family members of Cpl. Anthony R. Servin, a native of Riverside, Calif., during a memorial service hosted by the 2nd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, at the Camp San Mateo helicopter landing zone here, Sept. 28, 2012. The battalion’s Marines and sailors honored the sacrifices of Servin, as well as Sgt. Wade D. Wilson, from Webster, Texas, Cpl. Alex Martinez, a native of Elgin, Ill., and Lance Cpl. Joshua E. Witsman, a native of Danville, Ill. The families and friends of the fallen Marines heard first hand stories of their loved one’s greatness and dedication to duty, given by their Marine’s closest brother-in-arms. Servin is survived by his mother, Leticia Gomez, and father, Juan Servin.
