Air Force combat controllers run the prisoner of war and missing in action flag from Marek Park to the 18th Wing Headquarters at Kadena Air Force Base Sept. 21. The flag was carried from the park after the completion of a 24-hour vigil run to the 18th Wing Headquarters for the National POW/MIA Recognition Day, which occurs every third Friday of September.
