Unit receives new shoulder patches

The 82nd Sustainment Brigade commander Col. Chris Sharpsten places the unit shoulder sleeve insignia on the left sleeve of 530th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion commander Lt. Col. Austin Elliott during a patch ceremony Sept. 14. The 82nd Sustainment Brigade assumed control of the battalion Sept. 14 at Fort Lee, Va. The battalion was previously assigned to the 49th Quartermaster Group, which was inactivated in a preceding ceremony.
