The banquet and silent auction was held to honor 74 wounded veterans and caregivers on Sept. 15. The auction raised money for the Independence Fund. The Independence Fund hosted the Lt. Dan Weekend for the third time in Beaufort, S.C., from Sept 10 through the 16th.
