JSC-A command brief general on redeployment operations

Lt. Gen. Vincent K. Brooks, Third Army/ARCENT commanding general, talks to a group of Joint Sustainment Command – Afghanistan soldiers Sept. 17, 2012 at Kandahar Airfield. Austin expressed his gratitude for Third Army operations in support of the Dec. 31 deadline to withdraw troops from Iraq to Lt. Gen. Brooks and Third Army key leaders. “There is no one north of the border that thinks their doing this [withdraw operations] by themselves,” Gen. Austin stated. “Your team has exceeded the standards.”
