Chief Master Sgt. Lisa Jayne races towards the finish line during the U.S. Air Force Marathon at the Transit Center at Manas, Kyrgyzsatan, Sept. 15, 2012. Jayne serves as the 376th Expeditionary Medical Group chief enlisted manager and is deployed from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. The marathon originates at Wright-Patterson and takes place every year in September to coincide with the establishment of the U.S. Air Force as an independent service 65 years ago. This was Jayne’s first year to participate in a full marathon.
