Latin Americans honored at 9th National Latina Symposium

Under Secretary of the U.S. Army Joseph W. Westphal, originally from Chile, receives a Latina Style Leadership Award in recognition of all his achievements at the 9th National Latina Symposium, Sept. 6, 2012, Arlington, Va. The symposium was held by Latina Style Magazine, which showcases Latina achievements in all areas, including business, science, civic affairs, education, entertainment, sports, and the arts. More than 500 Hispanic leaders and service members from across the country participated in this event, which is the largest annual gathering of Latina leaders in the United States.
