Pfc. David Havir (command post operator from Glendale, Ariz.) and Spc. Jared Gonsalves (automated tactical data systems specialist from New Bedford, Mass.), both from Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 3rd Battalion, 320th Field Artillery Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division, spend time with each other and their family members (Havir: Brandi, wife, Isaac and Caedmon, children. Gonsalves: Robin Duggan, wife, Kihley and Sierra Gonsalves, children) at the Fort Campbell Morale, Welfare and Recreation Center, Sept. 6, before leaving for Afghanistan. The 3rd Brigade Combat Team "Rakkasans" stand ready to deploy to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom after several months of rigorous training and preparation.
