Louisiana National Guard Soldiers, currently assigned to the St. Bernard Task Force, rescue two dogs from a rooftop of a flooded residence in during search and rescue operations being conducted in response to Hurricane Isaac in Braithwaite, La., Aug. 30, 2012. More than 8,000 Louisiana Guardsmen are currently activated in order to assist Louisiana citizens, state and local authorities in support of Hurricane Isaac.
