Jacob Norenberg, pointman, Weapons Company, 1st Battalion, 1st Marines, Regimental Combat Team 6, gears up for a patrol throughout Trek Nawa, the area between the Nawa and Marjah districts, Aug. 26, 2012. Norenberg patrols the same area where he was shot a month ago. Norenberg’s protective equipment stopped the bullet, and he only suffered minor injuries.
