Members from JBER's Army EOD company await an Alaska Army National Guard to transport them from the mountaintop near "Penguin Ridge," Girdwood, after performing a controlled explosion of an unexploded avalanche artillery shell. The shell was discovered by hikers, and was immediately reported and was safely removed.
