Tech. Sgt. Michael Bayne, 2nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, looks inside the engine of a B-52H Stratofortress bomber on Barksdale Air Force Base, La., Aug. 20. Bayne is one of five crew chiefs participating in the 2012 Global Strike Challenge. For the crew chiefs' portion of the challenge, Bayne and his team will be evaluated on how they perform their pre-flight routine and knowledge of their job.
