Army Capt. Angela Demaree, looks through a microscope, Transit Center at Manas, Kyrgyzstan, Aug. 11. Demaree oversees the health and well-being of all Military Working Dogs assigned to the Transit Center and conducts quarterly training with handlers and members of the Transit Center medical clinic staff to ensure the dogs receive high-quality care in the event of a medical emergency. Demaree is a reservist deployed from the 422nd Medical Detachment Veterinary Services.
