Spanish soldiers from the Iraq-Spain Unit Helicopter (ISPUHEL) XIII contingency conduct a Transfer of Authority with their counterparts at the Task Force Toro compound at Al Asad Air Base, Iraq, Dec. 23, 2020. The Spanish soldiers will relieve the ISPUHEL XII contingency that have been supporting Operation Inherent Resolve since their arrival in May 2020. The Spanish soldiers will fly Airbus Helicopters AS532 Cougars and will provide air transport support to coalition forces in the CJTF-OIR area of responsibility.
