During the exercise, elements of the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing supported the 8th Engineer Support Battalion’s efforts by providing a CH-53E Super Stallion from Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 366, which lifted individual pieces of the bridge at Landing Zone Sandpiper and dropped them at Engineer’s Point.
