Commandos from the 1st Special Operations Kandak board helicopters for their first-ever independently planned, prepared and executed unilateral mission with the Mi-17 helicopters, Kabul province, July 25. The 1st SOK, advised by U.S. special forces, conducts operations in eastern Afghanistan to enhance security and stability in the region.
