Marines train their brains at LRCs

A Marine works on a MarineNet course at the Learning Resource Center on F Street aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune Aug. 3. There are seven LRC locations aboard the base to accommodate individual Marines and units to advance their personal and professional education.

  • Soldiers of the Chillicothe-based 1194th Engineer Company use team work to navigate a task of the Leader’s Reaction Course, May 5, at Camp Sherman, in Chillicothe. The Leaders’ Reaction Course is a 10-event course on the grounds of Camp Sherman. Each event is used to help evaluate leadership ability of an individual soldier. This is accomplished by each individual in a team being a leader for a task and serve as a team member or observer for the other tasks.
