Maj. Jenny Palmer, an Australian army nurse, learns how to use the particular intravenous dip machines in the intensive care unit aboard the Military Sealift Command hospital ship USNS Mercy (T-AH 19) during Pacific Partnership 2012. Palmer is one of the new members to join Mercy as it transits to Vietnam after completing a medical mission in the Philippines. Pacific Partnership is an annual U.S. Pacific Fleet humanitarian and civic assistance mission, which brings together U.S. military personnel, host and partner nations, non-government organizations and international agencies to build stronger relationships and develop disaster response capabilities throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
