Algerian Ambassador to the U.S. Abdallah Baali speaks at a reception held aboard the Algerian navy ship ANS Soummam (937), during a port visit to New York City. Soummam's port call marks the first time an Algerian navy ship has visited the U.S. During their visit, the Algerian crew will tour the city and conduct office calls with city and government officials. Soummam transited the Atlantic from Algeria as part of a training mission for Algerian naval academy students. (U.S. Navy photo by Lt. Dan Day/Released)
