Less than a week after returning from I Corps' yearlong deployment to Afghanistan, Lt. Gen. Curtis M. Scaparrotti, the commanding general of I Corps, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., and the I Corps' Command Sgt. Maj. John Wayne Troxell take the time at the McChord Co-Located Club, JBLM, June 19, to answer questions posed by leaders from the surrounding communities during the bi-annual community connector meeting. More than 40 community leaders attended the meeting to exchange information with JBLM leadership, which makes it possible for them to support one another at JBLM and within the surrounding communities.
