Staff Sgt. Matthew Carlino, right, 100th Operations Support Squadron Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape instructor, shows students how to get out of a specific hold move during a basic Modern Army Combatives Program at the Defender University, RAF Feltwell May 15-19, 2012. The course teaches students 18 different basic ground techniques (clinches, rolls and other moves) and taught them how to get out of a particular position if somebody should attack them, and how best to defend themselves. An article with more information will follow soon.
