U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Jeff Marks of the 183rd Fighter Wing, Illinois National Guard, works with officers from The Gambia and Togo during Operation Africa Endeavor June 18-27 in Doula, Cameroon. Marks was one of the four National Guardsmen to participate in the annual communications exercise sponsored by U.S. Africa Command, which focuses on the interoperability of equipment and information sharing among military representatives throughout the African Union and partner nations.
