U.S. Army Corps of Engineers employee Christine Good from the Afghanistan Engineer District North serves desserts to (left to right) Pat Brierly and Army Maj. Phillip Fleming and at the Qalaa House compound during a special Father’s Day celebration June 17, 2012. In a restaurant-like setting complete with a sports bar theme and the sweet aroma of hamburgers and chicken, more than 150 USACE fathers, grandfathers and future fathers gathered inside a decked-out, transformed K-span and bunker to enjoy a special dinner complete with fixings served by women from the district.
