U.S. Air Force 1st Lt. Jimmy Schweitzer, a flight nurse assigned to the 932nd Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron, Scott Air Force Base, Ill., practices inserting an IV into a medical mannequin arm as part of a medical training conducted during Exercise GLOBAL MEDIC 2012. Exercise GLOBAL MEDIC is an annual joint field training exercise for theater aeromedical evacuation systems and ground medical components designed to replicate all aspects of combat medical service support.
