Pandolfe's visit coincided with the start of the largest international maritime exercise in the Baltic Sea, BALTOPS, which marks its 40th anniversary this year. Participants from 12 countries are participating in the exercise, June 1-16, including Denmark, Estonia, France, Georgia, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Sweden and the United States.
