The walls of Combat Outpost (COP) Castle, a former 12th-century castle, are reinforced with sandbags and HESCO barriers in Reg-e Khan Neshin, Helmand Province, Afghanistan June 11, 2012. COP Castle is the operating base for U.S. Marines with 3D Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, Afghan National Police with the District Operational Coordination Center, and Afghan Border Police.
