Mozambique Marines practice baton strikes taught to them by U.S. Marines, with the help of translators from the Navy and Coast Guard Auxiliary onboard High Speed Vessel Swift (HSV 2). The U.S. Marines are from Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force 12.2, Security Cooperation Team 6 and is with Swift as part of Africa Partnership Station. APS is an international security cooperation initiative facilitated by Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa aimed at strengthening global maritime partnerships through training and collaborative activities to improve maritime safety and security in Africa.
