Staff Sgt. Robert Barney finishes the first of his two legs on a 62-mile relay race as part of team “For Wallace,” an Idaho Air National Guard team, June 9, in the Sawtooth Mountain range, Idaho. Barney is a member of the 124th Fighter Wing and is competing with fellow teammates from the Idaho Air Guard who are the single largest organization to participate in the 2012 Sawtooth Relay race, which had six-person teams covering 62 miles through central Idaho, from Stanley to Sun Valley over elevations as high as 8,700 feet.
