A change of command ceremony was held here today as Lt. Gen. Curtis M. Scaparrotti relinquished command of the International Security Assistance Force Joint Command to Lt. Gen. James L. Terry. Gen. John R. Allen, ISAF commander, and Abdul Rahim Wardak, Defense Minister of Afghanistan, praised Lt. Gen. Scaparrotti for his leadership over the last year and welcomed Lt. Gen. Terry as the coalition continues to transfer security to Afghan forces.
