UN aircraft lands at Futenma

Royal Australian Air Force Group Captain Luke C. Stoodley, center, Lt. Col. Ian S. Wallace, left, and the crew of a U.N. AP-3C Orion aircraft begin a tour of the aircraft at Marine Corps Air Station Futenma June 7. The aircraft is part of the bilateral anti-submarine warfare exercise Nichi Gou Trident 2012 between the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force and the Australian Defence Force. Stoodley is the commanding officer of the U.N. Command (Rear) Yokota Air Base, Japan, and Wallace is the executive officer of the air station.
