Sgt. 1st Class Daniel Paige, assigned to Headquarters, Headquarters Company, 1st Special Forces Group, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., sits down at an aide station and clinches his fist, past the half way mark, to take a look at his blistering feet during the 100-mile ultra-marathon March 31 at the Badger Mountain Challenge. Paige’s blisters resulted from excess miles he ran during the night when he deviated off-course, his injuries were treated by first responders on site.
