Spc. Joseph Sullivan, a cannon crew member, B Battery, 2-12 Field Artillery, 4th Stryker Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., enters the deflection for quadrants he receives from the Fire Direction Center, which sends the information into the chief fire section display on a M114 155 mm Howitzer Cannon in support of the best Fire Support Team (FIST) competition during Fires Week on the evening of April 10. Cannon crew members fired rounds downrange to an outpost during a night fire training exercise in support of a weeklong required certification process that ensures fire support specialists not only meet mission essential tasks to standard, but also compete against each other to determine who will be the best FIST and Top Gun.
