In honor of the innocent lives lost on 9/11, Marines of the Special Marine Air Ground Task Force New York remember during a visit to the 9/11 Memorial, concluding their motivational run through the city, May 29. The run is a culminating event for the Marines' week-long celebration of Fleet Week New York, which has been New York City's celebration of the sea services since 1984. It is an unparalleled opportunity for citizens of New York and the surrounding tri-state area to meet Marines, sailors and Coast Guardsmen, as well as see the latest capabilities of today's maritime services.
