Brandon Riles, (right) secure a U.S. flag May 27, 2012, during the USS Arizona Memorial 50th anniversary commemoration ceremony at the USS Arizona Memorial in Honolulu, Hawaii. Gorbey and Riles are assigned to 1st Battalion, 3rd Marines Regiment, Marine Corps Base Hawaii. The memorial was dedicated on Memorial Day in 1962. Since its construction, the memorial has stood as a place to remember the tragedy, and honor the dead.
