Soldiers from the 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, and Soldiers from the 12th Combat Aviation Brigade, as well as other coalition members and Afghan Army personnel stand in honor of the American National Anthem and salute the national colors here May 24. All in attendance were gathered for the transfer of authority ceremony, a symbolic event in which the 1st ACB who has finished their year long deployment relinquished authority to the 12th CAB who replaced them.
